All source distributions include a full set of binaries compiled under i386 Linux 1.2.8. The binary only distributions include only the binaries and support files for running, and should be fine for installation on the specified systems. The MSDOS compilation was done under MSDOS6.22 using the DJGPP port of the GNU gcc compiler, and is almost identical to the unix version.
