Digital Chemist (m/w/d) - 18040918 Vacancy Type: Permanent Location: Stein, Switzerland We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic, and talented Digital Chemist to strengthen our Scientific Computing group in Crop Protection Research Chemistry. You are a scientist in computational chemistry/cheminformatics/machine learning with a passion for automation. Accountabilities: - You will develop automated Design, Analysis, and Synthesis workflows based on computational chemistry, cheminformatics, and machine learning algorithms, that can be transplanted into an integrated system. - You champion the exploration of the newest scientific breakthroughs in computational chemistry/cheminformatics/machine learning. - You will explore and shift the limits for the closed-loop discovery of crop protection ingredients. Required profile: What we expect: - PhD or equivalent in computational chemistry, cheminformatics, or bioinformatics. - You are experienced in Python programming and in writing clear and maintainable code. - You have experience with code versioning control (e.g. Github). - You bring with experience in High Performance Computing. - You are a scientist with proficient knowledge in computational chemistry and/or cheminformatics. - You are fluent in English; any other language is an asset. - You have excellent oral and written communication skills. - You have the ability to work well independently and in a team.
