Subject: 20.03.08 Open positions for postdoc or assistant professor in Computational Chemistry/Biology

The research center for Computer-aided Drug Discovery (CADD), is an innovative research unit in the biomedical institute at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The CADD research center in SIAT has 10 multidiscipline research groups in the area of computational biology, innovative biotechnology, structural biology, medicinal chemistry as well as pharmacology. The CADD research center aims at investigating the cutting-edge topics covering the area of biomedicine and advancing modern drug discovery via computational methods in an ultimately efficient way. SIAT strongly encourages to combine top basic research with industrial translations.

SIAT was jointly established by CAS, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Shenzhen Municipal Government in 2006. SIAT has earned an outstanding reputation for translating basic research into industrial applications, thanks to its interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers. At the interface between biological technologies and information technologies, SIAT is well positioned for innovation in the twenty-first century.
