Subject: 19.07.02 PhD Position in Biomolecular Simulation, Theoretical Chemistry, Ruhr University Bochum/Germany
The Ruhr University Bochum is one of the leading research universities. The university draws its strengths from both the diversity and the proximity of scientific and engineering disciplines on a single, coherent campus. This highly dynamic setting enables students and researchers to work across traditional boundaries of academic subjects and faculties. Applications are invited for a PhD candidate position, which is available immediately or upon mutual agreement. The goal of the project is the targeted development and improvement of monoclonal antibody biopharmaceuticals, in close interdisciplinary collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KG. The successful candidate (m/f/d) has a keen interest in biomolecular simulation and in interdisciplinary collaborative research and has a strong background in theoretical chemistry or (bio-)physics, physical chemistry, computational structural biology, and scientific computing.
