The Faculty of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time (100%) vacancy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences for a doctoral scholarship holder in the area of molecular modeling, virtual screening and molecular dynamics

Job description:

- You prepare a doctoral thesis in the fields of anti-bacterial drug design using virtual screening, computational technology development and molecular dynamics simulations.
- You publish scientific articles related to the research project of the assignment.
- You contribute to teaching and research in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences.

Profile and requirements:

- You hold a master degree in pharmaceutical sciences, (bio-)chemistry, information technology or physics.
- You can submit outstanding academic results.
- Your academic qualities comply with the requirements stipulated in the universities policy.
- You are quality-oriented, conscientious, creative and cooperative.
- You have a keen interest in in-silico drug design, programming, chemo-informatics, chemistry and biology.

We offer:

- a doctoral scholarship for a period of 4 years;
- the start date of the scholarship is May 1, 2019;
- a gross monthly grant ranging from  2.373,36 -  2.516,73;
- a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
