Within the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering we require a
Research Assistant for a period of 6 months.
The work encompasses developing and applying computational
chemistry/biology approaches to engineer enzymes to achieve desirable
functions, in support of multiple enzyme evolution projects with close
collaboration with biologists and chemists. Additionally, the successful
applicant will be expected to contribute to the day to day running of the

- Protein structure prediction and refinement;
- Molecular dynamics simulations of biomolecules;
- Free energy calculation in MD simulation;
- Calculation of enzymatic reactions.

- An Honours degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a closely related area.
