Subject: 18.10.23 Postdoc position in modeling reaction-diffusion in catalytic systems
There is an opening for a postdoctoral associate in the Molecular Science and
Engineering Lab ( directed by Dr. Neeraj Rai. The
successful candidate will perform classical and first principles molecular
dynamics and/or Monte Carlo simulations to model the reaction-diffusion process
in hierarchical systems, and model the condensed phase behavior of biopolymers
and macromolecules.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, physics,
or a related discipline. Experience in either classical molecular simulation or
first principles molecular dynamics or Monte Carlo simulations is required. The
successful applicant is expected to have some programming experience.

The postdoctoral associate position is a full-time, benefits-eligible 12-month
basis appointment. The initial appointment is for one year with a possibility of
extension based on the performance and the availability of funding.
