About Us
CULGI is a globally operating high-tech company based in the 
Leiden Bio Science Park in the Netherlands that develops
computational chemistry software. We offer our software in combination
with services to clients so that they can improve their products, 
for instance, innovative new chemical mixtures.

tailored solution.  

How you would fit in
You are an enthusiastic team player with a computational background in
biotech or life sciences. You have excellent organizational skills, a
good sense for software programming regarding design and

We are looking for a self-supportive, multi-tasker 
who thrives on getting things done and picks up tasks proactively. 
You will work in a network training program funded by the 
European Union where you will have the possibility to perform
part of the work at other partners in the network. Your goal will
be to develop tools for data mining and develop user interfaces
for medical devices and work on interface applications in the
field of biosensors. You will be expected to present your work
at conferences, write scientific papers and finally write a 
dissertation leading to a Ph.D. degree from the Leiden Institute
of Chemistry in the group of Prof. Hans Fraaije.

expected to make an impact and have an interest in
business development. 

We are looking for somebody who
will share our ambition and joy to accelerate the
development and growth of CULGI. 

Your letter of motivation and CV should show that you: 

 have an MSc degree in computational science with a 
relation to biotechnology, chemistry or life science or 
combinations of these
 Experience in (graphical) software design or machine 
learning is a plus
 Commercial or professional industrial experience is a plus
 have excellent communication and social skills
 are a Team player with strong organizational skills
 speak and write fluently in English
