The Research Labs of Dr. Serdal Kirmizialtin in the Division of Sciences at New York University Abu 
Dhabi and Dr. Mark Tuckerman in the Chemistry Department of New York University seek for a talented
researcher with an excellent record of academic success for Post-Doctoral Associate position. 
The position is available immediately. The research will focus on a joint project on the development
and use of machine learning and advanced molecular dynamics techniques to study nucleic acids.

The successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or related field, with extensive 
experience in the application of molecular dynamics simulations to biological systems, ideally in 
both methods and applications. An ideal candidate will have a solid background in physics and 
chemistry, particularly in the area of statistical mechanics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with modern sampling 
techniques, good computer programming skills, a working knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting are 
highly desired. Experience in PLUMED will be very valuable. 
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge resources in a 
collaborative research environment between the campuses of New York University. 
The primay location of the position is NYU Abu Dhabi.
