Subject: 18.02.12 Postdoc Opportunity in Computational Biology and Computer-Aided Drug Design
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in computational biology and
computer-aided drug design, available immediately to join the research group of
Dr. Wonpil Im (https://compbio.lehigh.edu) at Department of Biological Sciences,
Lehigh University (http://www.lehigh.edu/~inbios/).

Research
This position will pursue research in developing high-performance computational
methods for structure-based protein-ligand interaction studies and drug discovery at
the proteomic level and their applications to practical drug discovery projects in
collaboration with biologists and medicinal chemists.

Postdoc Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in computational biology, chemistry, bioinformatics,
chemoinformatics, or closely related disciplines and have experience with code development and
computational structural biology study. We are especially interested in candidates with
experience in two or more of the following areas:

Computer-aided drug design
Molecular dynamics simulation
Structural bioinformatics
Protein structure refinement
Protein structure modeling
Systems biology

Scientific knowledge of any these areas is important, but does not go beyond applicants
enthusiasm for science and good communication skill to make synergy for our research group.
