The Research Lab of Dr. Serdal Kirmizialtin in the Division of Sciences at New York 
University Abu Dhabi seeks talented researchers with excellent record of academic 
success for Research Scientist/Post-Doctoral Associate positions. The positions are 
available immediately. The research will focus on the development and use of advanced 
Molecular Dynamics methods for studying nucleic acids and DNA replication mechanism.

The successful candidates must have a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or related field, with 
extensive experience in the application of Molecular Dynamics simulations to biological 
systems, ideally in both methods and applications. An ideal candidate will have a solid 
background in physics and chemistry, particularly in the area of statistical mechanics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with modern 
sampling techniques, good computer programming skills, a working knowledge of UNIX 
and shell scripting are highly desired. Experience in PLUMED will be very valuable.

US and Europe.
