Reporting to the Director of Global Scientific Support, the Scientific Support Specialist is responsible for providing front-line support to broad range of scientists and programmers. The position suits someone with excellent problem-solving and customer-facing abilities. A highly-motivated applicant will find exciting challenges in a position where no two days are the same. Supported by experienced and knowledgeable co-workers, this will also offer self-starters the chance to develop a range of scientific, computing, and interpersonal skills. This isn't a traditional support desk: this is science triage.
