Qualification & Experience: - PhD in computational chemistry, biophysics or related fields with 0-2 years of post-doctoral or industrial experience. - Broad knowledge of molecular modeling theory and application - Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills - Problem solving skills - Ability to conduct independent research - Experience in drug discovery projects and work with project teams Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities (Describe in bullet points, the duties and tasks of this position) -Structure and ligand based molecular modeling for drug discovery projects. -Development of computational methods and workflows -Interaction with project team comprising medicinal chemists, DMPK scientists and Biologists. -Scientific reports, publications and presentations Skills : - Proficiency in molecular modeling softwares - Expertise in computational methods such as protein-ligand binding, 3D-pharmacophore modeling, homology modeling, ab initio calculation and molecular dynamics simulation - Experience in programming in Unix script, Perl, python or C - Strong oral and written communication skills Key behaviors to be demonstrated for success in the role : Ability to work in a team environment.
