Description:
A research associate position (POSITION CODE: BCAT  00470X) in computational
chemistry is immediately available in Albany State University, Albany, Georgia.
The position is supported by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009
through National Institute of Health. The duty will include classical and ab
initio molecular dynamics simulations for bio-nano complex systems as well as
for bio-fuel systems. Initial appointment will be for a period of one year
with the possibility of extensions for additional years. SALARY will commensurate
with qualifications and experience.

Requirements:
Masters degree required, and PhD preferred in the field of computational chemistry
or closely related; strong background in molecular modeling and/or electronic structure
methods; experience with QM/MM, and classical MD;  experience in small Linux cluster
administration is a great plus.
