Computational Chemistry Post-Doc  Job ID 13869

The candidate should have a strong background in the natural sciences
(chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or physics).  Strong skills in
homology modeling, QSAR and the anlysis of large data sets are highly
desirable.  Previous experience in cheminformatics and protein modeling is
a plus.  The initial appointment is for one year, with anticipated renewal
for an additional year.  Final project selection will be made by the
successful candidate, but possible areas of focus will include data-mining,
hit-to-lead analysis, and homology modeling.  It is anticipated that
opportunity will exist to provide direct project support, if that is of
interest, but the main focus will be methods development.  Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the capacity and
enthusiasm for working in a project-oriented environment and
multidisciplinary teams are required.
