A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Depart-
ment of Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
This is a joint position working with Dr. David Woon on NASA astro-
chemistry projects (mostly the modeling of chemistry in ices) and with
both Dr. Woon and Prof. Thom H. Dunning, Jr. studying hypervalent bond-
ing in small molecules. Suitable candidates must be proficient with both
density functional and ab initio methodologies, including multireference
treatment of bond formation (preferably with MOLPRO). Experience with
cluster calculations, intermolecular interactions, and mineral surfaces
is very desirable. The position will be available 1 September 2008.
