POST-DOCTORAL OPENING in COMPUTATIONAL BIOCHEMISTRY

A postdoctoral position is available in the Biochemistry
Laboratory of the Ecole Polytechnique, in Paris, France.

Possible projects involve protein/RNA engineering by
directed evolution and structure/function studies of
supramolecular complexes. Experimental collaborations
are underway to study the genetic code translation
apparatus, including the ribosome.

Some of our past research is described at
http://biology.polytechnique.fr/biocomputing
The Proteins^Home distributed computing project
is described at biology.polytechnique.fr/proteinsathome

The position is suitable for a highly motivated person with
a Ph.D. in the area of computational chemistry, biomolecular
simulations, computational biophysics or biology, physical
chemistry, or a related field. It is initially
funded for 15 months.
