currently seeking highly skilled scientists to fill the following 
positions:
 

Description: As one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies and 
a pioneer in structure based design, Roche has access to large in-house 
databases of protein-ligand crystal structures and biological data. 
These projects present a unique opportunity to not only mine and analyze 
these data but to generate new hypotheses and insights by working with 
Roche scientists to understand protein-ligand interactions or 
ligand-target profiles.  We seek candidates who are self-motivated 
and capable of working in the interface between chemistry and informatics.  
A candidate with a strong publication record and motivation to publish is 
highly desirable.


Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in cheminformatics, 
computational chemistry, bioinformatics or related field.  
Knowledge of two or more of the following areas: analysis of large data 
sets, protein-ligand interactions, statistics, scripting (python/perl), 
and working with molecular databases.
