Postdoctoral position available
Computational chemistry of iron-oxide nanoparticles
A postdoctoral researcher is sought to work on a NSF-funded grant to
study nucleation and growth of Fe-oxide nanoparticles. The
successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of
experimentalists and modelers at Penn State, SUNY Stony Brook and the
University of Wisconsin-Madison tackling the fundamental problem of
interfacial control on phase stability at the nanoscale.
The successful candidate should have experience in density functional
theory calculations with preference for expertise using the VASP code.
