PhD Position at ICIQ, Tarragona, Spain

The Theoretical Catalysis Group of the Institute of Chemical Research of 
Catalonia (www.iciq.es) is looking for one or two skilled and motivated 
postdocs to develop a project in collaboration with an important chemical 
industry. 
The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry or Physics, as well 
as experience in molecular simulation and computational tools. Knowledge of 
solid-state calculations and/or micro-kinetic modelling is required. The 
candidate is also expected to be familiar with Unix and have basic 
scripting and programming skills.

We will only evaluate candidates with European Union citizenship who can 
join ICIQ as soon as possible after the interview. The position will be 
filled through a 1 year contract (renewable). Salary according to ICIQ and 
Spanish rules and depending on the candidate's qualifications.

Tarragona is a quiet, beautiful UNESCO World Heritage town of 115,000 
inhabitants on the Mediterranean coast of Catalonia, 100 kilometres south 
of Barcelona.
