Subject: 08.04.28 Postdoc - Molecular modeling of gas hydrate expansion - University of Pittsburgh
Postdoctoral position Molecular modeling of gas hydrate expansion University of Pittsburgh, USA A postdoctoral position is available May 1, 2008 in the laboratory of Professor Gerald Holder (University of Pittsburgh). The project involves molecular simulations of various gas hydrates in order to compute the thermal expansivities. This project is funded by the U. S. Department of Energy and entails collaboration with the National Energy Technology Laboratory. The position is for one year with possibility of renewal depending on performance and funding availability. Qualified candidates will hold a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering or a related field and have expertise in writing and running molecular dynamics simulations codes to simulate aqueous systems.
Qualified candidates are requested to send a CV (in PDF format) and arrange to have three letters of recommendations sent to: Gerald D. Holder U. S. Steel Dean of Engineering C/o Nancy Donaldson Email: donaldson||engr.pitt.eduNOTE THAT E-MAIL ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN MODIFIED!!!
