Position: Senior Scientist  Computational Chemistry

The scientist will be required to be working with a team comprising of 
computational biologists and chemists in the USA and in India.
The scientist must have hands on experience with QSAR, molecular modeling,
homology modeling, pharmacophore modeling, cheminformatics, quantum 
mechanics and programming and scripting languages such as Python. 
Familiarity with methods for conformer analysis and optimization, 
de novo drug design and virtual screening will be preferred. 

Qualification:  
Ph.D in Computational Chemistry or relevant discipline. Masters with 4+
years of experience will also be considered.
2 years post doc or industrial experience in pharmaceutical drug 
discovery.
A broad knowledge of molecular modeling theory and applications.
Strong problem-solving ability.
Strong interpersonal skills - must have the ability to interact with 
pharma scientists and understand the problems they face. 
Ability to conduct independent research.

Posting will be in US. Candidates must have valid work permits to 
work in the US. Position involves travel within US.
