Chem., ICIQ, Tarragona, Catalonia A postdoctoral fellowship in the field of Applied Computational Chemistry is available at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) (http://www.iciq.es) in Tarragona in a contract funded by a pharmaceutical industry. Work will be in the application of the ONIOM method to the study of the active center of some metalloproteins. Previous experience in the application of QM/MM methods to the study of biological systems is desirable. Citizenship from a European Union country would be also helpful to facilitate paperwork. The applicant will work in the research group of Prof Feliu Maseras at the ICIQ (http://www.iciq.es/english/grups_eng/maseras/entrada.htm) The position will be filled through a one-year contract, extendable to two years. The position is available as soon as travel arrangements can be made. Tarragona is a beautiful city of 120,000 inhabitants on the Mediterranean coast of Catalonia about 100 kilometres south of Barcelona. Tarragona is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is close to modern tourist resorts.
