Your key responsibility will be to provide scientific and technical 
support via phone and email. In addition you will also get involved in 
short consulting projects, training Accelrys customers, collaborating 
on scientific papers, posters and case studies and liaising with our R&D 
team on product issues, software testing and scientific validation.

This Support Scientist position calls for a degree in Chemistry, 
Computational Biology/Chemistry or Bioinformatics and significant skills 
in troubleshooting technical issues in Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
Familiarity with the Pipeline Pilot product range and fluency in scripting 
languages (including JavaScript, Perl, and VBScript) is highly desired. 
Oracle and/or SQL database installation and maintenance skills would be 
an advantage. Due to the high customer facing nature of the role, you will 
also need outstanding interpersonal and communications skills and the 
ability to present to scientific and technical audiences. 

The role will require European travel for up to 25% of the time.
