We would like to bring your attention to a symposium at the 2010 
Fall EMRS meeting on &quot;Semiconducting Oxides&quot; in the historic city 
of Warsaw. The symposium&#39;s aim is to explore a wide range of aspects 
of this exciting area of materials science from both an experimental
and theoretical perspective. All attendees will also have the 
opportunity to contribute to a special themed issue of Journal of Physics: 
Condensed Matter.
