Apparently the QCPE only has a version for VAX. >From : C.Parkinson, Manchester, England. I have never tried MM2(91), but the MM2(87) source compiled without modification on our Convex, and as far as I can tell it works fine. Convex have made an effort to make their compiler Vax-compatible, but as far as I know, the Vax compatibility features are active only if the -vfc flag is supplied to the Fortran compiler. And I did *not* use the -vfc flag. To me, that suggests (but does not prove) that the MM2(87) source is likely to compile and run on most Unix platforms. --Tom Ngo =========================================================================== excerpt from Convex manual re use of Vax Fortran extensions... I did *not* use this flag to compile MM2(87). -vfc Accepts certain language extensions implemented in the VAX FORTRAN compiler that either conflict with current or proposed FORTRAN standards, or that cause compati- bility problems with existing CONVEX FORTRAN programs.
