Subject: HyperChem on Indigo XS?

Hello,
we have recently bought HyperChem to run it on a SGI Indigo XS.
Now we were told by Autodesk in germany that we need an additional Z-buffer.
On the other hand out local SGI salesman here in Cologne told me that allIndigos without hardware Z-buffer would emulate one, so he believes we could run
HyperChem without the additional hardware. What shall we do? Could it be that
our Indigo is not capable of emulating a Z-buffer because we have only 
16 MB RAM at the moment (RAM upgrade already ordered)?
