The goal of this conference is to provide a platform to exchange ideas and promote collaborations within the community of theoretically oriented chemists related to the major challenges of molecular sciences in the next ten years. This event is especially focused on the interplay of new ideas and new technologies in shaping the future of molecular sciences covering a very broad range including, inter alia, astrochemistry, environmental chemistry, material and life sciences. The format will be very informal and includes several lectures by leading experts in different fields and broad general discussions. The invited speakers that have already confirmed their participation = are: Carlo Adamo - Chimie-ParisTech Alberto Baiardi - ETH Zurich Malgorzata Biczysko - Shanghai University Julien Bloino - Scuola Normale Superiore Carlo Cavallotti - Politecnico di Milano Maria Pilar de Lara Castells - CSIC Madrid Odile Eisenstein - University of Montpellier Mihaly Kallay - Budapest University Xiaosong Li - University of Washington Gershom (Jan) Martin - Weizmann Institute Feliu Maseras - Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) Florian Muller-Plathe - Technical University of Darmstadt Maria Joao Ramos - University of Porto Alessio Petrone - Universit=C3=A0 di Napoli Federico II Cristina Puzzarini - Universit=C3=A0 di Bologna Giovanni Scalmani - Gaussian Inc. Giovanni Talarico - Scuola Superiore Meridionale A number of short oral contributions will be selected among those submitted by registered participants for a specific session on September 7th afternoon. Furthermore, revised versions of the contributions presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of Theoretical Chemistry Accounts (TCA), whose editors are Prof. Barone and myself. All the details are available on the website of the workshop: https://smart.sns.it/ischia_sm/ Just few additional notes: - No registration fee is applied, however registration is mandatory. - There is a limit of 50 participants to the conference, including invited speakers so that only the first 30 registrations will be confirmed. - People wishing to contribute to the TCA special issue, must declare it in the registration form. - The deadline for registration and abstract submission is June 24th, = 2022.
