(It quits while reading the calculation title, of all things). This has happened before after restarts and updates, but then I was able to get Gaussian working again by using the virtual memory page setting in the Control Panel to force a second restart. After the second restart, Gaussian would usually work. This procedure didn't work this time. I was hoping someone here would have an idea of how to get Gaussian 03 going again. This is an older version, no longer supported by Gaussian Inc., so there's no help there. --David S. But there's no information about it. Over a first approach, to use the dielectric constant for the polarizable continuum Model gives only gross information about the system. However, a more accurate description on the thermodynamic viewpoint requires a more sophisticated model. Can anyone give me some information simulate this solvent usisng a PCM? Who can help me please? Thank you Kerry
