One which is really annoying is that sendmail, after sending about 2000 messages gets a dreaded Segmentation Fault. It is probably some small memory leak (thought I do not see paging...). It can also be a kernel problem (like problems with process tables). Obviously there is no way to debug such a thing within one's lifetime, so I am trying to do tricks/workarounds blindly. The result of this glitch is that the "almost distributed" message is not saved in the CCL archives since this step is done after all email messages were placed in the mail queue. To give justice to authors and to test the operation of various tricks I will be resending messages that were not completely distributed. Relax... There are only a few of them since it is a slow season. Now, if you see some other glitches and problems, please send me email at: janl,+,speakeasy.net if you have a problem contacting me at jkl,+,ccl.net I will be grateful... I access machines locally, I may not see all things that happen due to firewalls and various filters that guard CCL in this hostile environment of today's Internet. Have a wonderful New Year's Eve and all the best in the 2007. Jan
